Urgent Recall: 60+ Food Items Pulled Amid E. Coli Scare

Over 60 food items have been recalled in the UK due to a potential E.coli outbreak that has hospitalised several individuals.

Greencore Group and Samworth Brothers Manton Wood have recalled various sandwiches, wraps, and salads sold in major UK supermarkets, including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Aldi, Morrisons, Co-op, and Boots.

Darren Whitby, head of incidents at the FSA, stated that the recalls are precautionary measures following investigations by the FSA, Food Standards Scotland (FSS), and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) into the ongoing outbreak caused by shiga toxin-producing E.coli (Stec).

Customers who purchased the products should return them for a full refund.
